The sea summer camps (“colonie estive marine”) start being built in the second half of the XIX century and are conceived as a shelter from the dangers of the new industrial civilization threatening childhood at that time. These pictures show the present architectural decline of these buildings and are a part of a new project whose purpose is the iconographic survey of some of the most important “colonie marine”
